For parents of Grade 9 and Grade 10 students

Your child is more
than a report card.

Their choices should reflect who they are.

I’m Rajwant Kaur, an educator and certified career coach. Through psychometric assessments, personalised conversations and practical action plans, I help students understand their strengths, explore suitable pathways, and make informed subject and stream choices, with parents as partners.

A familiar conversation

You want to help your child.
Where do you begin?

You want your child to understand their strengths, explore their interests and make thoughtful choices. But knowing how to support that process is not always straightforward.

There may be time to explore interests, develop practical skills and learn through experience. Or a subject and stream choice may be approaching, with options to compare and a decision to make.

“How do we understand what suits our child, and what should we do next?”

That is where our work begins.

The Five Foundations Method

A thoughtful choice
has something
to stand on.

These five foundations guide both the Stream Clarity Blueprint and the Mentorship Programme. Together, they help us understand your child, bring their voice into the decision, examine suitable options and turn that understanding into practical next steps.

  1. Understanding your child beyond marks

Assessment insights and personal conversations to understand your child’s strengths, interests and aptitude.

  2. Your child’s voice and ownership

Space to share preferences, ask questions, express concerns and understand the reasons behind their choices.

  3. Understanding subjects and pathways

What different subjects and streams involve, where they can lead and which subject combinations your child’s school offers.

  4. Weighing options thoughtfully

Comparing suitable options with your child, considering their strengths and interests, each option’s requirements and available alternatives.

  5. A clear plan for the next step

Written recommendations and practical next steps, with clear priorities to act on.

Stream Clarity
Blueprint

“The subject choice form is coming. Which subjects and stream would suit our child?”

The Stream Clarity Blueprint helps you and your child compare options and make an informed choice, with your child’s strengths and perspective at the centre.

A clear recommendation,
with reasons you understand.

A psychometric assessment and two personalised sessions help us understand your child’s strengths, interests and aptitude, hear their perspective and discuss suitable subject and stream options.

You receive your child’s psychometric assessment report and a personalised Stream Clarity Blueprint. The Blueprint explains the recommended subjects and stream, the reasoning behind them, suitable alternatives and practical next steps, taking your school’s available subject combinations into account.

Hello, I’m Rajwant

I have sat on
both sides of
this conversation.

As an educator, I have listened to students trying to choose. As a parent, I have felt the uncertainty of helping my own child find her direction.

My own experience in sport taught me something too: caring deeply about an interest does not always mean knowing where it could lead.

These experiences shape my work. I listen carefully, ask useful questions and help families make sense of the evidence, one step at a time.

A few things you may be wondering

Room for
your questions.

My child has no idea what to choose. Is that okay?

Yes. A student does not need to know their future before asking for guidance. We can begin with what they enjoy, what comes naturally, and what they have had a chance to explore.

Will the free check recommend a stream?

No. It looks at the foundations of your family’s decision. A stream recommendation needs a fuller understanding of the student and their school’s options.

Can my child take part?

Absolutely. The check can be completed by a parent, a student, or both together. In the Blueprint, the first session is with the student alone.

Do we have to buy anything after the review?

No. You receive a written next step whether or not you choose paid guidance. Sometimes the honest recommendation is to revisit later, or that no further help is needed.

Clarity for Every Next Step

Before choosing a stream,
understand what the choice rests on.

A small first step for a decision that deserves thought.
